Neighbourhood policing is the bedrock upon which policing in Sussex is built. Newick’s local Police Community Support Officer (PCSO), Sally Ann Reed, is always prepared to help and assist.
Jane Harpley and Marion Cottingham are heading the Neighbourhood Watch (NHW) and are happy to help you, along with Sally Ann, with any queries you may have.
Sally Ann Reed
Police Community Support Officer
Barcombe, Hamsey, Newick, Cooksbridge And Offham
I joined Sussex Police as a PCSO in June 2007. Before that I was a fitness instructor working for local authorities teaching a variety of classes, i.e. aerobics, step and aquafit.
I decided to become a PCSO because my time as a fitness instructor made me realise how much I enjoyed working with the public and how finding just a little time to talk and listen to people can make a difference in their lives.
I look forward to meeting more and more of the people in the community I am going to work in and hopefully being able to assist them when needed.
